Primary care
Daily consultations, chronic disease management, and on-site lab and diagnostics.

A full-service community hospital in Tiko, Cameroon providing care so no family has to leave home for the treatment they deserve.

Sinju Memorial Hospital is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to ending medical exile for Tiko and the surrounding region. We provide primary care, maternal and child health, emergency services, and preventive medicine - regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
Active hospital site serving the community near the Axe Lourd corridor.
Where our family home once stood, a dispensary called for something more - a true hospital.

In December 1998, a call rose from Tiko - a call to bring real care close to home. On the land where our family house once stood, a small dispensary did its best, but it couldn't meet the need. We knew our community deserved a true hospital.
That dream carries a name. Sinju Memorial Hospital is built in memory of Paul Sinju, whose compassion and devotion to those around him still guide everything we do. What began as one family's promise has grown into a mission for an entire region.
Today, that dream stands open. Sinju Memorial Hospital has opened its doors as a beacon of care for the whole family - primary and chronic-disease care, maternal and child health, 24/7 emergency services, community outreach, and preventive medicine. Every day, families who once had to travel far for treatment now find care close to home. But opening our doors is only the beginning. We're here to end medical exile for Tiko for good - and keeping our doors open, our wards staffed, and our care within reach of those who cannot pay depends on people like you. Join us in carrying this dream forward, so our community can look to a healthier, more hopeful future.
